at work at Bloedel

I feel so fortunate to live on Bainbridge Island just a couple minutes from Bloedel Reserve where I've been volunteering as a docent since 2010. When the Pandemic ended my docent duties, I was invited to help some of the gardeners. These past couple of years I've gotten to know many of these hardworking and dedicated individuals who keep Bloedel alive and growing. While the grounds – both natural and manmade – are center stage, I want to illuminate the folks whose hard work make this Reserve world class.
